Salaams everyone,

After many years of searching, we have found a place in Godmanchester, QC, that would be perfect for the foundation of our spiritual community and farm project. The idea is that this place would serve as the center for our community, as a zaawiya, a meeting place where we can rent out rooms for fellow visitors who are on the path.

It has it all. The land has orchards, pens for livestock and fields for agricultural development.. It’s the ideal setting to cultivate all the different skills of natural living and getting back in touch with Allah’s creation and the fitra way to do things including home schooling and self-sufficiency in food.

As it is now, as much as we would like to go ahead with the project, we need more support. The owner is asking for 3000$/month for this wonderful place. Anybody interested in contributing would have a pied-à-terre in this residence.
