The Argument against Covid Vaccination

Let me begin by saying that I am not an anti-vaxxer -something true btw of most people questioning the current vaccine program! I do not believe in black and white thinking.When I went on Umra to Saudi Arabia and found out about previous meningitis outbreaks I took the meningitis vaccine without hesitation..When I went to Egypt in the 90’s I tried to get my hands on the hepatitis A vaccine(Hep.B is more problematic) but it was just coming out and required two doses.So I missed it and got hepatitis! Not a pleasant experience,to say the least.So I appreciate the value of well-targeted vaccines.My objection to the Covid vaccine,for people not at risk-like healthcare workers and teachers AND parents of young children in daycare and public schools is based on the Precautionary Principle! There is so much we don’t know about these vaccines and so much that is kept hidden by the authorities in place that it appears to me foolhardy to take the risk- if the benefits are minimal.I have stated on numerous occasions that if I were still working in a hospital,I would certainly do so.

Let us backtrack a bit ,well before the Covid pandemic, on the whole vaccine question, to see why I mistrust the public health authorities.Literally for decades,I have been waiting for the only study that would really be definitive about the question of vaccine mandates for children.The study that obviously needed to be done was comparing vaccinated children to the unvaccinated ones-the children of the anti-vaxxers.All previous studies were done on single vaccines for short-term effects.Even the one long-term study about MMR and autism was done about one vaccine and one form of pathology.That is completely inadequate.What was needed was a study of the whole program of vaccine mandates.The authorities in place never saw fit to do those studies as it challenged their entire theology around vaccines.And now we have at least three(see my other article entitled “The Vaccine Issue” on this blog for the details.

The studies are consistent in their findings-4.2 times the rate of Autistic Spectrum Disorder ; 5.2 times the rate of Learning Disorder; 4.2 times the rate of ADHD( supposed to be highly genetic!);5.9 times the rate of pneumonia(despite the fact that the pneumonia conjugate vaccine is part of the protocol!)5.2 times the rate of asthma and 3.9 times the rate of allergies! Conclusive,no? For me it is conclusive enough to state that allowing one’s children to have the full vaccine mandate constitutes parental malpractice.

Now have the health authorities paid any attention to this issue and these studies?Of course not.Because their religion which I call ‘Scientism” has a catechismic belief which says:”Vaccines are Safe” period.Don’t bring us any evidence to the contrary( like all the payments of the U.S. government for vaccine-injured children and adults) because we believe vaccines are safe-by definition.

So we were getting off to a bad start even before the Covid Pandemic! Then we witnessed one after another of bad calls and misinformation by these public health and government officials.Some of these are still going on.Let us look at a few;

1)The Origin of the Virus.For a year and a half now first the Chinese government and then the W.H.O have been covering up the fact that this is a man-made virus -a product of “gain of function” research begun in the U.S. and shifted to China when it was banned in America.The research in Wuhan was subsidized by the U.S. National Health Institutes(read Fauci) via a covert strategy of redirecting the money to the Eco Health Alliance of Peter Daszak fame.On top of it all the U.S. state department knew the Wuhan lab was dangerously insecure according to its own reports(see the Washington Post 2018) but did nothing about it.So ironically this was  truly a collaborative U.S./China effort that almost destroyed the planet! If it had been a more virulent virus like Ebola it might have done so!

2)Border Closures:The U.S. closed the border to people from China but negligently forgot to close the border to European travel and thence the terrible outbreak in NYC.Oops-thousands of deaths.Btw Canada did no better! Just before the pandemic was declared I travelled to Tunisia to see my Sufi teacher.The Tunisians were more on top of it than Canada! When we entered,they gave us a short questionnaire and took our temperatures.Two weeks later on returning to Canada there was still no concern at the airport! What,me worry lol?! As a McGill intellectual once said in a rare moment of clarity lol”Canada does one thing exceptionally well! Branding!”Our branding is starting to take a beating with the revelations about the Residential Schools for indigenous children but that is another matter!

3) Masks.At first there was no requirements.No peer-reviewed studies.It appears there still are none really.But the bureaucracy of Public Health shifted.I think they were right in that shift.After all the Asian countries have been using that strategy for decades lol.It was obvious.But the flip-flop was not designed to promote confidence in our health authorities!

4) The denial of very effective early treatment strategies for Covid. This may be the unkindest cut of all! Hundreds of thousands of people may well have died,because the Public Health authorities refused to acknowledge the success of hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Zinc and Vit.D in treating early Covid and in prophylaxis.”Trump said it so it must be wrong” goes the logic! Boiled down to the nitty-gritty HCQ lowers the mortality rate by 80%(Dr. Didoer Raoult of Marselles has been saying this from the beginning);Ivermectin lowers the mortality rate by 90%( see the reports of Dr. Kory and the FLCCC group) and it looks like Ivermectin and Luvox eliminate mortality! That’s right 100% reduction! But the health authorities in their rush to promote the vaccines and the expensive drug Remdesevir refused to acknowledge it.”No double-blind, randomized peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals”(their catechismic beliefs) they say! Many,many people died unnecessarily!

5) No animal studies were done to preclude ADE ( a  deadly consequence in previous Covid vaccines).They excluded pregnant women from the studies and then in a panic over young  pregnant women showing up in the ICUs across the country began recommending it.And now the issue of children in daycares and public schools, IMHO the major asymptomatic spreaders of the disease when they return home to their families, is now up in the air as they are only beginning to test them.

The list goes on and on.With all of those missteps and all the misinformation being spread by these authorities how can we possibly trust them?! They are in bed with the pharma companies and the vaccine companies including the FDA and CDC and as opposed to many other couples in the U.S.,their relationship seems to be tight and solid lol!

All that being said,does that make the Covid vaccine bad? Not necessarily.In fact it may turn out to be a good thing after all-as opposed to the childhood vaccine mandates where the evidence is now conclusively negative.But it sure makes you wonder.So personally,I will err on the side of caution for now! The Medical-Industrial Complex!

The entire medical Epistemology of the modern world is wrong! It is based on peer-reviewed studies published in prestigious journals.These studies are fundamentally corrupted.On the back end they are subsidized by pharmaceutical companies and government agencies with hidden,ideological agendas.On the front-end they are driven by ambitious “scientists”(like Fauci) trying to elevate their status in the academic world by publishing large-scale studies. If instead we paid attention to individual and health practitioner experiences (the much maligned anecdotal evidence!),and listened with the ear of Truth ,we never would have had this pandemic in the first place and once we did ,it would have been managed much more efficiently.”Corrupt to the core” as Shiv Chopra calls it but the “core” goes even deeper than the latter imagined! The core is a core of ignorance as to how we apprehend Reality.That is, the core is a HUGE Epistemological blunder.God be with us.Salaams,Ibrahim

The Vaccine Issue!

Disclaimer: This article is NOT about the current Covid Vaccines That will be the subject of another article in the not too distant future.Rather it is about the long-standing question as to whether vaccines,in general,are safe.

Ok.Here we go! One of the thornier issues of our time?! For years,I have been intrigued about the issue of vaccine safety! Many ,many times on the media and on medical sites I have heard the absolutist mantra”Vaccines are safe” touted in an unqualified way- as the ultimate statement of scientific truth! From my practice alone,I knew this wasn’t true!For example one client of mine was convinced he got Chronic Fatigue Syndrome from the hepatitis B vaccine he was required to take for his work.When he went to see one of the major experts in CFS in Quebec,he was told that the doctor had seen a few other similar cases.He also stated that if he went public with his findings he could easily lose his license.This is the state of the Scientific Fascism we are now facing.The other expert on vaccine injury in Texas told him she had seen thousands of vaccine injuries from that very vaccine.

Another patient with a severely autistic child told me it was NOT a vaccine injury, as she could tell right from birth that her child was not normal. However in the support group she attended 4/14 families claimed they had seen a direct relationship between vaccinations(I believe the MMR) and their child’s autism.Then I listened to Andrew Wakefield and found him more than credible.Then Robert F. Kennedy’s work at Childrens’ Health Defense just sealed the case for me.

Now,it seemed to me very feasible to study this question.All one needed to do was compare unvaccinated children(the progeny of those much-maligned and demonized “antivaxxers”) to vaccinated children,control for certain demographic dimensions and compare the two groups.Any decent epidemiologist or infectious disease specialist should be able to design such a study . Easy-peasy, no? But each time I went on Pubmed, where doctors and scientists go for research,I could find no such studies.Invariably the studies were about single vaccines and short-term effects.The only credible study that could be found on l-term effects was the now famous study in The Annals of Internal Medicine in 2019! And here it is!

Now this study which refutes a link between MMR vaccines and Autism has many limitations.Not least of which is that it is a study about one vaccine and one disease- not the kind I was looking for since there are synergistic and compounded effects of multiple vaccines on multiple pathological entities.This was just another misplaced use of Koch’s postulates looking for single etiological agents for single pathologies-a way out-of-date,antiquated approach..We are no longer living in a Pasteurian world of pneumococcus causing pneumonia.In the modern world most diseases and certainly the ones we are dealing with here are multi-factorial and the approaches needed to treat them are multi-modal.As well  this is a retrospective registry study-dubious by its very design! Exactly the kind of study that the heath authorities would refuse  for using remedies like HCT and Ivermectin  to treat Covid lol. In any case,it does not answer the real question I was  asking here which is the following“What are the long-term consequences of massive amounts of mandated vaccines(72 in the U.S. now for children up to 16 years old!) on their long-term health?” All this of course,in the spirit of cost/benefit analysis! Isn’t that what we are supposed to be doing?!

So the theological catechism:”Vaccines are safe” has never seriously been tested up to recently.The closest attempt I found was in the writings of pediatrician Paul Thomas who had began examining his pediatric practice in which he had about 894 patients following the CDC guidelines,1098 following his Vaccine-Friendly protocol and 238 unvaccinated kids(Now over 500 as we shall see shortly).In his examination of the outcomes he found no cases of autism in his Vaccine-Friendly plan, no cases of Autism in the “anti-vaxxers”,and 15/894 cases in the CDC-conforming  group(just about the national average for Autism currently.)Intriguing,no!? He was never able to get his study published in peer-reviewed journals so he published his own book lol

Recently however I came across some newer research and it confirms everything I had suspected.There are three articles in particular I would like to bring to your attention.Amazing how long this took!?You will also notice that none of these papers are published in what are considered prestigious peer-reviewed journals! That is because those journals are in the pockets of  the monied institutions of Big Pharma and government agencies who are trying their best to defend the status quo and to fight against “vaccine hesitancy”!When you begin to study this question in any depth,you too will become “vaccine hesitant”lol You may even become outraged that the public health authorities are not doing more to protect your children!

Here are the studies:

These three studies come to remarkably similar results! But before synthesizing their conclusions,let us go over them one by one.

1-The first study is probably my favourite due to the simplicity of its structure and the clarity of the format.The authors were comparing two groups of home-schoolers-thus two populations with a lot in common-concerned parents interested in alternative education and alternative values-different   from most people in society.They were also very honest in their approach.So you can see that they do report the negative effects of non-vaccination like three times the rate of chickenpox and  and three times the rate of whooping cough.They also report the category of diseases where vaccination appears to make no difference like cancer, Crohn’s disease, diabetes,high blood pressure etc.So we can see that they are not black and white thinkers like the pro-vaxxers lol

But here are their major findings..In terms of chronic illnesses the vaccinated children had 30 times the rate of allergic rhinitis!;3.9 times the rate of allergies;4.2 times the rate of ASD (autistic spectrum disorders);5.2 times the rate of learning disorders; 4.2 times the ADHD and For some reason asthma was not reported although for otitis media the ratio was again 3.8 times in the vaccinated group and for pneumonia 5.9 times the rate.Given that the number of students studied was 666, these are impressive and highly significant differences!

2-The second study is done by James Lyons-Weiler -a researcher specialized in data analysis and is Scientific Director of the Bioinformatics Analysis Core at the University of Pittsburg .He is basing his study on the patients of Dr. Paul Thomas ,previously mentioned.I find the format somewhat over-complicated and unnecessarily analytic(office visits,corrected for days of care,Z factors etc.,etc.).I imagine the concern was to cover all confounding variables possible.The format aside,the conclusions are similar to all other studies of the same nature.The O.R.(odds ratio) was 9.065 for fever;2.919 for otitis media;5.248 for asthma 5.522 for anemia 4.656 for gastroenteritis and 4.097 for “behavioural issues which may well be a representation of autism-all in favour of the unvaccinated groups! As mentioned previously,there were no actual cases of autism in the unvaccinated group and in this study no cases of ADHD in the unvaccinated group!-very impressive when one considers that the current rate of ADHD in America according to parental reports is around 9.4%! What a difference!

3- The third study by Hooker and Miller was based on three medical practices in the United States.The independent variable was children vaccinated or not before one year of age-so a very limited window of vaccination.However,the results are very consistent with the previous two studies.O.R ratios of 4.93 for asthma;2.49 for ear infections;2.36 for developmental delays(future autism) and 2.48 for gastro-intestinal disorders.for developmental delays

There are many more details in these published studies if you would like to investigate further.In all fairness as well,there may be one confounding variable which could actually be a complimentary variable! And that is the following:the same parents that spared their children vaccinations may well have protected their children from a host of other toxins like pesticides and GMOs and plastics and heavy metals and EMFS and other toxins in tap water.All of that would only reinforce the message! Our children are under attack from a host of toxic materials of which vaccines may be only one of many -but clearly a significant one.

So what does all of this mean?! Especially for parents raising young children.I believe that what I suspected all along is now proven.Our public health authorities, in the guise of illness prevention, are actually seriously harming our children! 54% of children in America are now suffering from chronic illnesses! The rates of asthma,allergies,autism and ADHD-the four ‘A’s- are through the roof: 4-6 times the rates in vaccinated children!This is an unmitigated disaster going on right in front of us!If you have ever seen an asthmatic child struggling to breathe or a parent struggling with the erratic behaviour of their autistic child,you will know what I mean.An entire generation’s health is being put at risk and possibly many future ones as well!! But our politicians and public health authorities seem much more concerned with the economics of the pharmaceutical ,vaccine, agricultural and chemical sectors than they are with human health.Any parent who attempts to turn a blind eye to this reality is doing a serious disservice to their own children and to future generations. So take note-especially parents of young children- and seriously consider how to mitigate these dangers! Who knows?! You may even become activists for childrens’ health.That would be a good outcome!

Addendum,Since the publication of this article a fourth and even more definitive article has been published by Hooker and Miller.In this article they were able to follow the same three medical practices for a considerably longer period of time. The results are even more dramatic!

We see here that the odds ratios(vaxxed vs, unvaxxed) have gone even higher;

severe allergies: vaccinated vs. unvaccinated )4.31

chronic ear infections: 27.8

and ADHD(associated with Learning Disorders): 20.8

These are catastrophic figures! and point to a catastrophic lack of observation and surveillance  by politicians, heath authorities and doctors alike!

Four Essential Areas of Knowledge

This one has required a long gestational period! It is the summary of decades of experience and observation!

The majority of people limit their knowledge-base to what is necessary to survive- with a bit of recreation thrown in.The Hindus would call that First Chakra preoccupations lol So they learn to do their trade,to earn a living and to take care of their basic needs.N.B. I am talking here  about the “good ones” -not the criminals and psychopaths of which there are far too many nowadays.

Then there is the minority of people who undertake a spiritual path.They understand that “this can’t be all there is” and so they aim higher-to understand the invisible worlds and the After-life. Some of them are corrupt but most are well-intentioned and sincere- regardless of their actual attainment.

However(is that word still allowed lol) that too is not enough.Regardless of the spiritual path and the associated religious practice(yes,religious practice because without it the spiritual gains drain out constantly like having the archetypal hole in one’s bucket). Whether the practice is meditation-based or prayer-based or obedience and service-based or even based on the struggle with the ego (jihad-a-nafs )it is still not enough to manage life in the modern world- especially given the fact that most religions are based on teachings from long ago and have been struggling themselves to keep up with the times.

So,what are these areas of knowledge that are necessary to successfully managing one’s life in the modern world.There are ,at least four that I have identified;

1)Comparative Religion:knowing about other religions that we are not practicing. N.B. I am not advocating here the smorgasbord of religious practice that I first encountered with the Sufi Order of the West. All due respect to the dignity and nobility of Hazrat Inayat Khan and his son Pir Vilayat, practicing all the religions at the same time is like putting chop suey in your Boeuf Bourgignon or adding knishes to your lasagna.Just doesn’t work lol

So,what is the reason to learn about other religions? Well,firstly we are living in a global village. Veut, veut pas(whether we like it or not) unlike living in Medieval Christian times or in a strict Hassidic community or a Deobandi one for that matter ,we are going to encounter people from other faiths.And the vast majority of them are not going to convert! That’s just the reality and we have to live with it.So it is better to know something about the others’ point of view-what they value and what they reject.That makes for better relations.

Secondly,each religion has its areas of strength that we can learn from even if we reject their overall approach.The Christians,for example,have developed kindness and charity and piety. So even if we reject some of their theology we can acknowledge their strengths.The Hindus and Buddhists,despite, slipping into idolatry at times(whether the pantheon of Hindu gods or the statues of Buddha) and being imbalanced in the direction of transcendence as opposed to living properly in the world, have developed the most sophisticated and carefully mapped-out processes of meditations.We can learn from them. And the Jews have defended a pure monotheism and a rigorous intellectual traditional of scriptural interpretations(the Talmud). Another chance to learn! Let us approach traditions other than our own with respect and awareness rather than religious jingoism and the results can not be other than positive!

2) Psychology:The twentieth century saw a fluorishing area of investigation into the individual psyche. From Sigmund Freud to C.G. Jung through Skinner and Aaron Beck,not to mention Fritz Perls and the Gestaltists and Wilhelm Reich and the field of Bioenergetics there was an outpouring of observations on the constitution of the individual psyche.

Now, spiritual disciplines were always aware of this problematic aspect of the human constitution.The fight against the ego and its negative tendencies has always been part of the spiritual path.However,never before was the “mind” (thoughts and emotions) looked at with such precision and details. One of the areas where this becomes particularly helpful is in dream interpretation(something we will be exploring in our upcoming book on the subject.)Suffice it to say that even the great Sufi dream interpreters like Ibn Sirin had not uncovered many of the mechanisms of dream expression. To be more specific without being comprehensive,the concepts of the “unconscious”, “displacement”, “condensation” and Collective Archetypes(C.G. Jung) are just a few of the newer ideas that help us to properly understand dreams.

It must be said here that spiritual teachers,including the best of them, are generally resistant to psychological thinking and practice.I get it! It can easily slip into individualism,egotism and agnosticism.That being said, this refusal of the psychological domain can lead to catastrophic consequences including suicide ,death and physical illnesses.I will leave out the illustrative case histories for another time!Suffice it to say that we ignore this domain at our own peril!

3) Environmental and Functional Medicine:Ever since the Industrial Revolution of the 19th century but even more acutely since the 1950’s we have been exposed to ever increasing levels of toxins.From pesticides like Round-up to vaccines and their adjuvants to heavy metals and VOCs in construction materials and more and more EMFS due to cellphones and wifi and G5 we are literally bombarded with toxins.Not only are most spiritual teachers oblivious to this reality but the experts,the doctors in our medical clinics, are woefully uninformed and misinformed about this subject.Most of them are still looking for that Pasteurian, Koch postulate single variable -cause that is not present in most cases especially those of chronic illnesses. We are living amidst a literal deluge of toxins that are causing an epidemic of serious illnesses like Autism and Cancer and Auto-immune disease and Alzheimer’s.Anyone seen any of those around them lol?! But most of our medical personnel,let alone our clergy, are clueless.The doctors are still looking for excuses for this phenomenon like”cancer has always been around”True but not at that rate- or”It’s only because the population is ageing”. But there is more and more cancer in children! With autism the rate has gone up from 1/2000 when I studied psychiatry to 1/30 to 1/60 depending on which studies you read.that is 4000% increase! And what do the doctors say”It must be because we have gotten better at diagnosing it or again”the diagnostic criteria have enlarged”! No,no and no! “There are none as blind as those who will not see”!

All of this means that often,we need to manage our own medical situations.The regular doctors are resources. At times they can do extraordinary things like stenting for acute coronary artery disease but overall we need to manage our own health.I will not outrage you here with some of the horror stories of spiritual teachers giving medical advice! Suffice it to say that the smart ones refer you back to your doctor.Then you have ,often, to save yourself from their limited knowledge as well lol.

So-o-o-o learn,learn and learn and then manage your own health.It’s the only truly effective strategy!

4) Near-death and peri-death experiences:This is a brand new area! Really just began in earnest with the publication of Raymond Moody’s book “Life after Life” in 1975 and Elizabeth Kubler-Ross’s work on the dying and grieving processes.And why do I consider it so important?!So important in fact that I wrote a book on it called “The Big Questions-Evidence-Based Faith”(available on Amazon or at this blog.)One of my spiritual teachers once said this:”There are only three questions that should be of concern-me,God and death”! So death is one-third of the curriculum lol. All the great spiritual teachers have counselled their students to reflect on death! The Prophet saws has said“The most wise from among you is he who remembers death the most and the most prudent from among you is he who is most prepared for it”. Wise words no doubt,

So-o-o now we have this window into the death process that is both compelling ,contemporary and relatable.And those are the near-death experiences about which there is more and more material being produced every day.Why would anyone in their right minds ignore this treasure-trove of reports?!

Well,the “scientific types” are still looking for the magical neurochemical compound or neurophysiolgical process that would explain it all away!? Can you imagine?! Here we have credible,honest people in our midst bringing back credible reports that are consistent with everything our religious teachers and mystics have been saying since the beginning of times and we have these sim[ple-minded skeptics,no doubt conditioned by our Empiricist educational system,thinking: “This must be endorphins or hypoxia or chemically-induced hallucinations.In Islam we say “wa la howla wala quwatta’.(How could they be so blind and opaque?!) The latter question will be a topic for another time.Suffice it to say, for now, that this knowledge ,of the near-death and peri-death experiences, can be both reassuring(that we DO continue after death) and instructive -as to what is important in life and what isn’t .Once again we ignore it at our own risk and peril!.

So there you go! Comparative Religion,Psychology,Environmental Medicine and Near-death experiences.A glorious and sumptuous  repast! That should keep you busy for the next few decades lol

Because people have become more and more ideological,it has become increasingly difficult to know what is going on in any area of investigation.This includes,amongst others,what is happening with the Covid crisis ,what is the best form of energy (solar,wind,natural gas,nuclear or geothermic) to be investing in,are vaccines really safe and useful and, of course, climate change.As far as I can see,there are NO systematically reliable sources of information out there.So,we need to develop more subtle skills like seeing,hearing,intuition and feeling to separate the chaff from the wheat.What I am sharing here is the fruits of just such an effort on my part-with reference to the Climate Change issue.The trigger for this article was the posting on peakprosperity.com of the annual Year in Review by David Collum- specifically the 2019 edition.Although I do not agree with everything written by Collum,I do believe he is unusally smart and despite his cynicism,his desire for Truth is sincere(i.e. he is not just another ideologue)-just like  Chris Martenson,the host of the website that published this Review..So here are my conclusions at this point.These conclusions are subject to change with further evidence,as all science should be btw.I totally agree with Collum on that point.There is no such thing as settled science.The latter is theology rather than science.And as any student of religion well knows, even theology is debatable lol. 

  1. The certitude around the concept of Anthropogenic Global Warming (AWG) is misplaced.There are many scientists of considerable training and experience who do not agree.The deniers are increasing while the changers,as they call them,are beginning to question themselves.The infamous and oft-repeated statement that “97% of climate scientists agree about this” is total BS.It is based on what is called in statistical science “selection bias”.It is based on choosing 79 papers amongst over 11,000 possible options in order to confirm their hypothesis.This is also known as “confirmation bias” in the trade!As Collum rightfully said the only thing true in this statement is that 77/79 = 97% But what about the other 10,920 articles?!
  2. The climate is constantly changing,in any case.There was  the Medieval Warming period(950-1250 A.D.)in which the world was considerably hotter than now.They were growing barley in Greenland during that period.And Mediterranean grapes were growing all over Great Britain.Civilization was also resurging (including Islamic Civilization) so people were doing well!
  3. Remember the old caveat in science that correlation is not necessarily causation.Well it is quite possible, and there is some evidence for this,that the temperature increasing is causing the increase in CO2 rather than the contrary! And it appears that plants and trees like the CO2 and grow better with it lol
  4. Collum’s mother calls the famous Michael Mann,the architect of the famous “hockey stick”of global temperature rise made famous by Al Gore,”a piece of work” lol.When journalist Mark Steyn and climate scientist Tim Ball criticized the model Mann had proposed,he decided to sue them for libel! After eight years in the courts,the judge declared that Mann failed to present evidence of his model’s validity .Mann declared that he did not need to produce evidence(similar to Trumps attempt to reverse the election results lol).The judge declared him in contempt of court and ordered him to pay all of Tim Ball’s legal expenses! Is that the kind of authority you would like to be betting on in this debate ?!
  5. (Comical but intriguing tidbit.)Nobel prize-winning physicist Ivar Giaver states that the CO2 spewed into the the global atmosphere  by all the cars in the world is equivalent to sitting in a 20 by 20 by 8 room lighting one match every three years lol
  6. There are many alternative theories of global warming.When I brought this up to two old friends-one a long-time Buddhist practitioner who now joined the Extinction Revolution Movement- and the other a well-read progressive writer,they literally lost it in me! The latter one blurted out in anger”We can’t let the petroleum companies be right.”The first one,the Buddhist,looked like he was ready to slug me if I said one word more.So much for’ ahimsa'(non-violence) lol
  7. As far as I am concerned,the most likely explanation for the modest warming effect we are witnessing is Solar Activity.This is consistent with the Heinrich Svensmark theory of cosmic rays where the sun displaces the cosmic rays so there are less dense clouds and increased temperaure.Physicist Nir Shaviv of the University of Jerusalem,puts it this way.”CO2 emissions don’t play the major role in climate change…the bulk of the climate change is caused by sun via its impact on atmospheric charge which means that most of the climate change comes from nature.A freshman physics student can see this”
  8. “Neither the rate nor the magnitude of the reported late twentieth century surface warming(1979-2000) lay outside of the normal natural variablity”. i.e. even if and I believe it to be so,the climate is warming somewhat,it is not such a big deal,it has happened before and it could reverse at any time-without intervention!
  9. “Melting glaciers are doom porn”(David Collum).While the ice is receding in the Arctic,it is growing in Antartica(Bet you haven’t heard that one!).So the total mass of ice appears to be holding constant!
  10. Global warming,in any case,is NOT the most important issue facing us.A largely separate issue,that of toxins in our air, food, water and construction materials as well as electropollution is a much more immediate threat! That is what is driving the cancer,autism and Alzheimer’s epidemic all around us! And we don’t need any fancy scientific models and instruments to see that.It is all around us!!
  11. Bottom Line :Don’t believe everything you are told! Much of it is “bubbameises” (Yiddish for tales of the grandmothers lol). Do your own research.Think for yourselves! Salaams,Ibrahim

Epistemology Unpacked -The Covid-19 pandemic

I guess philosophy is important after all lol.My two favourite terms these days are Epistemology and Empiricism and its sister Philosophical Materialism.So my apologies to Wittgenstein and John Stuart Mills after all lol.

So( not supposed to use that word according to current anal grammarians lol.Another form of political correctness-this time in the  world of grammar.).And yet(probably also banned as a term lol) it is SO useful lol.Maybe that’s why they want to ban it! (the conspiratorial epistemology-to be unveiled shortly).So,I repeat,the current pandemic gives us a chance to examine different forms of Epistemology.Epistemology basically means “how do you get to the Truth,The Realty of any situation or question?”(same word btw in Arabic-Truth and Reality=Haqq!)

So let us examine four forms of Epistemology as applied to the Covid pandemic and  try to see their relative value.I will personalize these approaches in order to make the point more vividly and graspable(sorry again grammarians-probably not a legitimate word!).

  1. The Didier Raoult paradigm-information on the ground.For those that don’t know this fascinating character from Marseilles,he is one of the first doctors to promote hydroxychloriquine as a Covid treatment-mostly based on his clinical experience at a hospital in Marseilles.He even took the trouble to document his cases and show that at his clinic ,they had reduced the death rate by about 70% by this approach.Further studies done in the right way,using HCT early in the illness with azithromycin and Zinc came to similar conclusions-anywhere from a 60-80% reduction! All of this based on exanining the facts on the ground.This principle is applicable to many other situations .Ask the people who are there experiencing it.But no! The current Epistemological paradigm forbids this It is dismissed either as subjective or anecdotal or some other disparaging term.         I was pleased to hear from my brother in NYC whose future son-in-law was himself working on the ground in a Brooklyn hospital where the doctors noticed that HCT was useful early in the illness and they were not even using it with antibiotics and zinc! But no,the CDC and WHO will hear nothing of this .They need their prospective, double-blind ,placebo-controlled peer-reviewed i.e. non-existent studies lol to arrive at conclusions.)
  2. The Chris Martenson(peakprosperity.com) paradigm.Unlike the former paradigm  Chris is working from outside the battlefield.But he uses the on the ground workers as one source amongst others.Then he interviews people who have experienced the illness,looks at the research including the less high-profile journals and the non-statistical scientific reports.He scours the newspapers,TV Cable News and radio reports.From this vast array of sources he is able to discern the chaff from the wheat,pick out the B.S. even in hot-shot journals like Lancet and JAMA and then come to conclusions.He is almost invariably right and when he isn’t he admits it.   Oddly enough I have seen judges in the courts using a very similar process of teasing out the reality from an abundance of sources.And they consistently understand the Reality better than the expert doctors who are supposed to be experts in the area. That is because the doctors are using the next paradigm-the Fauci approach lol
  3.  The Fauci and his acolyte Sanjay Gupta approach- also known as current scientific consensus.These people only believe in peer-reviewed,placebo-controlled,double blind prospective studies and Cochrane database metastudies and official organizations like WHO and FDA and CDC..They are very often wrong as has been Fauci all along in this pandemic.He got the mask issue wrong(not enough studies?!)the hydroxychloroquine issue wrong(looking at the wrong studies and ignoring the right ones) and the man-made nature of the virus(how he could get that one wrong is beyond me as HE was instrumental in creating it!). The problem is that most medical personnel and certainly the formal afore-mentioned institutions(WHO,FDA,CDC,NIH) are all using that paradigm! No wonder we are in such confusion and such trouble.
  4. I can’t complete this abbreviated list of Epistemological approaches without mentioning the Brian Rose,Sayer Ji Plandemic conspiratorial epistemology.These people see the lies and the deceptions of the official stories of government and health institutions but go way beyond the facts into paranoid projections.So the fact that there was a 201 Event meeting of government and public health officials and businessmen Organized by John’s Hopkins University  in October 2019 that simulated a pandemic to try to develop strategies to deal with such an event means for them that the pandemic was planned.Wrong! The fact that the Wuhan lab was under the control of the Chinese military means that this virus was a bio-weapon of war.Wrong again. The fact that Bill Gates screwed up with vaccines in India and Africa means that he is trying to depopulate the world so that he can better control it.Anyone with familiarity with the paranoid mind-set(I was a psychiatrist for 45 years lol) can recognize the cognitive errors in these kinds of distortions and projections.On top of it,they may be dangerous as they stir up unnecessary fear and anger in a situation where there is enough realistic fear and anger to go around already!
  5. The pandemic in a nutshell-Ok. This is the scoop as I understand it.They were doing this research(“gain of function”) so that the virus penetrates more easily into human cells(specific affinity for ACE receptors).That allows them to have more research subjects who are infected so they can test vaccines on them.American scientists realized how dangerous this could be so it was banned in the U.S in 2014 by Obama after numerous scientists(?200) wrote a letter to the State Department. They(Antony Fauci?) transferred the research to China where they don’t care about human beings but are more interested in money and reputation, and the Americans kept financing it through the N.I.H to the tune of $200 million. In 2018 a group of American diplomats and scientists visited the Wuhan lab for an inspection.They wrote a report to the State Dept. saying how dangerous it was and that the security was too lax at the lab.The State department ignored the report! And the rest is history.The entire world had to suffer the consequences and they(The Chinese and the Americans) are not acknowledging their mistakes and their negligence and hiding the evidence.No conspiracy theories,no bio-weapons.Just simple recklessness and negligence combined with “Science” that has lost its moral compass!That’s it in a nutshell.

Making Corona Virus Work for Us

Thinking about how we can make this corona virus work for us rather than against us.It could potentially shift our lifestyle! Whatever happened to “Small is Beautiful” by Schumacher?We don’t hear about it much as the multinationals do their best to poison our minds with their self-interested propaganda.Consider the following manouvres of “social distancing”
:have your clothes made by a tailor or seamstress instead of buying mass-produced cheapos from China(I already do that for my shirts,pants and vests!) We could employ many,many people on a small-scale in that effort
:buy your furniture from a proper cabinet-maker instead of buying that junk from Ikea
:buy your food(vegetables,milk,meat and eggs)from small-scale local farmers especially those who refuse to use pesticides and GMOs.Boycott the large agro-businesses as much as possible
: close the schools permanently and bring back the absolutely best form of education-The Master/Apprentice relationship( my best educational experiences were in psychiatry with a very small group(sometimes a group of one) and an experienced practitioner.I then went on to do the same as a teacher
;Socialize in very small groups no more than 4 or 5.the discussions tend to be much deeper than when you are in a “party” scene
:return to handicraft production whenever possible including making pottery for dishes and bowls and cups and even homes can be built that way by small groups instead of using massive construction equipment.
The possibilities are endless if you start thinking about it.
Small intentional communities would be a perfect place to apply some of these ideas.I know this will involve an incredible shift but actually it’s the only way we are going to survive!Otherwise the multi-nationals, with the complicity of our governments will, manipulatively and ignorantly, inevitably destroy life on the planet.

Contemporary “Science”

So the Amazon is burning?! Good! A beautiful natural experiment on the carbon imprint theory of global warming! What can send more carbon into the atmosphere than a huge burning forest?!So if the human-caused theory of global warming is correct there should be a direct,measurable correlation between the amount of forest burning and the earth’s temperature.

That is, if we are dealing with testable, disprovable hypotheses -the basis of all real science.Instead we are dealing with theological postulates-untestable convicvtions.So I assume they will not do the studies!

Like I could find no real studies on another natural experiment- what happened in Cuba to cancer rates and autoimmunie diseases when they were forced to go organic because of the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Or no studies about the long-term effects of multiple vaccinations because the theological principle is”Vaccines are safe” ! Right?

Or the long-term effects of eating food raised with pesticides(Theological principle”The level of pesticides is below the level of toxicity” Ya right.)

So science has been converted from testing observable hypotheses to massive data gathering,statistical analysis and economic manipulations by wealthy corporations like pharmaceutical companies and chemical producers who fund the “science”.If the scientists find something uncomfortable to these large corporations,they are often gagged or fired as happened clearly in Canada under the Harper administration and happens a lot more than we believe behind closed doors.

Look what has happened recently with glyphosate.Institutional,conservative by nature,judges have found the link between glyphosate and non-Hodgkins Lymphoma credible and have approved very large settlements the last one of $2 biliion dollars.And yet you find a whole-window display of this product at Home Depot! Why? The government has not acted on the evidence.”More research needed?” .No!This is pure economic manipulation..

And Westerners think only Marxist countries perverted the teachings of the Master.Francis Bacon( founder of the principles of modern science) must be turning over in his grave lol And it ain’t funny!

Let me be clear here.I am not a climate-change denier.That is the current term for a heretic! Remember those from the Middle ages?!! Well the concept is back! They just don’t use the term anymore as it sounds too “unscientific”.The Earth is warming! It is an observable fact.

As far as I can make out there are only two possible explanations( of course the Ultimate cause is the Will of God but we will not go there as this is too inflammatory for the fundamentalist secularists lol).So getting back to the intermediary causes ..It is either due to human activity( the consensus position now) or due to the sun’s activity.(C.F. Henrik Svensmark and others.) Personally at this point ,I favour the latter theory.Ever noticed the sun’s effect on your daily temperatures and seasonal temperatures?! In Canada that can be up to 60 degrees Celsius! No one,even the hard-core “scientific”types, doubts that is an effect of the position relative to the sun! So the one or two degrees they are talking about seems like a pittance for the sun.BUT I could be wrong(the scientific position lol).I have looked at some of the evidence( i am supposed to say here that I am not a climatologist.That is the current protocol but people who know me know that I am not a big believer in experts.They get things wrong on a regular basis in my observations .So citing climatologists just doesn’t do it for me)..It seems to me that once you understand the scientific principle that “association does not mean causation” most of the carbon theory falls apart.But I am, in true scientific fashion, still willing to be convinced otherwise.
