Don’t be fooled by outer appearances into thinking things should not have happened that way.You will not only be tested, as Allah promises in the Quran. We are tested to reach our purpose, to fulfill the contract we made with Allah SWT before we were born, that contract which we do not remember.
Our ultimate mission is to discover the closeness of Allah SWT, to manifest the beauty and light within that which He created, in its fullest, so that He becomes manifest in the world.
We must and will be tested to accomplish this mission. This is part of the human experience. It is what puts the motion into our mission’s journey.
Testing differentiates the human from animal. Humans are given choice and freewill. With every choice, be they big or small, we are being tested and the way we choose propels us one step further in our journey to level of closeness with Allah SWT that He has ordained for us.
Al Hamdulillah, God is ever accepting repentance, Ja Tawwab, opening the way to get back on course when we, as we all do, make a mis-step. Even our response to our own mis-step, sins and mistakes is a test. Will we turn once again to Allah SWT?
